Hear how this innovative mobile multi-species (beef, sheep, goat, elk, bison) slaughter trailer turned from dream to reality and how it provides humane local slaughter to fill a community gap where slaughter services are lacking and in demand.
11:30 – Noon Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council. The Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council has one major goal – to create made-in-Manitoba market opportunities for the province’s cattle producers. Part of its mandate is to encourage additional slaughter capacity.

He will discuss some of the issues regarding the meat business in Manitoba. Greg will also be talking about value chains as an agri-food business strategy to partner for profit.
